About Bamboo
Walking the Journey Before Inviting Others to Join It
For more than three decades, I had the privilege of working with leaders and organisations through growth, change and transformation.
Along the way, I began asking a different kind of question.
Not simply:
How can we become better leaders?
But:
Who are we becoming as we lead?
That question continues to shape both my life and my work today.
MY STORY
From Transformation to Formation
For much of my career, success was measured in ways that many organisations understand well.
Delivering results.
Developing leaders.
Leading transformation.
Creating organisational impact.
I loved the work.
Over more than 30 years, I had the opportunity to work across travel technology, telecommunications and financial services, eventually serving as Head of Organisational Development and Transformation at Singtel.
I was privileged to work with leaders from different cultures, industries and backgrounds across Asia.
Those experiences taught me a great deal about leadership.
But they also raised questions that leadership models and organisational strategies could not fully answer.
I began noticing that even highly capable leaders could struggle with deeper questions.
Questions about identity.
Questions about worth.
Questions about purpose.
Questions about how to continue achieving without losing themselves in the process.
And eventually, I realised these weren't simply questions I was observing in others.
They were questions I was learning to ask myself.
That journey led me to explore stewardship in a deeper way.
Not simply as a principle for managing resources, but as a way of seeing and responding to what has been
entrusted to us.
Today, Bamboo is an expression of that ongoing journey.
I don't claim to have arrived.
I continue to learn, reflect and grow.
And I invite others to do the same.
WHAT I'VE LEARNED
How We See Ourselves Shape
How We Live and Lead
Over the years, one conviction has become increasingly clear to me:
How we see ourselves shapes how we live and lead.
Our identity influences the choices we make, how we respond to pressure, how we relate to others and how we exercise leadership.
When we become more aware of who we are and what shapes us, we can make more intentional choices about how we live, how we lead and how we care for what has been entrusted to us.
This is the thinking behind Bamboo and the SHIFT methodology.

MY APPROACH
Reflection Before Action
People do not necessarily change because they receive more information.
Often, meaningful change begins when we pause long enough to see ourselves, our assumptions and our circumstances differently.
That is why my approach begins with reflection.
I don't see myself as someone who has all the answers.
My role is to create a space where we can ask better questions, explore what matters and consider what a meaningful next step might look like.
My hope is that people leave not simply with another framework, but with greater clarity about who they are, what matters and how they want to live and lead.
